Heavy Rain: Move - Platinum Edition (PS3)

Mixing exploration and action scenes with a dark and rich narrative, Heavy Rain asks players to make choices that will dramatically alter the way each featured story unfolds.

Best known for its compelling adventure game Fahrenheit, developer Quantic Dream has taken the mature themes of its breakthrough title to new heights, putting players in charge of four separate characters as they race to track down a serial killer. Heavy Rain is best viewed as an interactive story, allowing players to make decisions that will severely affect the game’s outcome. Throwing away the concept of a Game Over screen, if a character loses their life during Heavy Rain, their death will simply become a part of the storyline as the game continues onwards.

Heavy Rain’s control scheme is also far from typical, with context-based actions that keep gameplay moving at pace while ensuring players feel they are interacting with each scene. This Move Edition has been updated to work with Sony’s PlayStation Move controller, implementing gesture-based controls that add an extra layer of interaction to each scene.

Developer Quantic Dream’s first PlayStation 3 title is a bold and brave departure from typical gaming concepts, offering players a refreshing adventure title with mature and complex themes.
